Description from the creator

I show how to make an origami paper Christmas tree. It is a somewhat challenging model to make because the top 2 pieces are rather small and may be difficult to fold. This project requires two pieces of A4 or Letter paper, one brown and one green. Five squares will be cut out of the green paper and one rectangle will be cut out of the brown paper. When cutting and folding the paper try to make the edges as straight as possible for best results. The dimensions I used can be up-scaled or down-scaled to make the tree bigger or smaller. The origami Christmas tree makes a great desk top decoration and is a good craft for the holiday season.

Origami Christmas tree Dimensions:
- Square #1: 16cm x 16cm
- Square #2: 11.9cm x 11.9
- Square #3: 8.3cm x 8.3cm
- Square #4 and #5: 3.5cm x 3.5cm
- Rectangle #1: 3.5cm x 16cm

Origami is the traditional Japanese art of folding paper. The goal of this art is to create a representation of an object using geometric folds and crease patterns preferably without cutting the paper or using glue. But with modular origami the use of glue is common.
