When we moved from the city to the country some of the equipment for the chickens was left for us by the previous owner. I'm glad too because I may not have thought about making a scoop from a bleach bottle. I like the scoops better than those that you can buy at the feed store.. and they save you money too. The problem I had when I wanted to make more scoops was that I found cutting them with a knife was too cumbersome. I was afraid I'd cut myself too since the plastic was sometimes difficult to cut. The edges were never perfect. That's when I thought of using the chop saw to make the cuts.
