Description from the creator

This Frodo costume was made entirely from second hand clothing items (with the exception of the elvish cloak). As such, this costume can be made very inexpensively. It's modeled by my sister as she was the Frodo of our Lord of the Rings group last year.

My video camera ended up skipping some of the hobbit feet construction. After the painting, we glued on a little bit of brown hair left over from what we cut off the the Frodo wig to give them the furry hobbit look. The plastic feet and the hobbit ears for the Frodo costume both came from Amazon. You can get the feet here: amzn.to/1Jy5Ke6 and the ears here: amzn.to/1ODMNXZ (They don't really look like hobbit ears, but the wig covered most of them anyway). The sword was a plastic Sting my brother had already, and the ring came out of a Lord of the Rings board game we had. We got a plain, gold colored chain at JoAnn fabrics so my sister could wear it around her neck as Frodo. We ended up not using the hobbit feet for the final shot of the Frodo costume since the leaves mostly hid her feet anyway, but she wore them instead of shoes when she went out to town that night.
