Description from the creator

This video show my own way of making a usable vacuum pump. This video will show you how to make a vacuum pump out of a old refrigerator compressor. This pump can be used to pull a vacuum on different things and can be used to do things like pump up balls and bicycle tires. Also potential for many other things too.

Don’t spend hundreds of dollars on a brand-new vacuum pump! In this video, I demonstrate how to convert a scrap refrigerator compressor into a fully functional DIY vacuum pump for HVAC repairs, degas chambers, or shop projects.

Learn the step-by-step process of prepping the copper lines, brazing Schrader service valves, wiring a standard start relay (RO41), and testing vacuum draw using manifold gauges.
