Ingredients:
1 1/2 cup Flour
1 tsp Baking powder
1/2 tsp Baking soda
1/2 tsp Salt
1 Egg
330ml (1 can) Favourite fizzy or Beer.
OR you could omit the baking powder and baking soda if you wanted to use self raising flour (but the end product will not finish as well)

This batter is so easy to make. If you are making a desert then a sweet fizzy would be great to add, but if you are deep frying fish or something savoury then a Beer or a nice bitter fizzy so the batter doesnt end up to sweet.
