How to Make a Zine Using Adobe Illustrator

Hi! My name is Levi, and in this video i'm going to show you how to make a Zine using Adobe Illustrator. This is going to be really really basic but i hope that at the end of it you found it to work with Illustrator really easy.
Ok - Here's Illustrator and what i'm gonna ask you to do is to download my Zine Layout - link at description - it has all the pages sorted out for you.
I'll use first page. Ok - this will be your cover and your backcover, pag number 1 and number 12. We are good to go, we can already edit the Zine.
Let's imagine you want to write some text on your doccument. Click here on the little T, or press T on your keyboard
and keep the mouse button pressed, unpress it to release the box.
Ok, you have a little box. You can write here.
But, let's move it somewhere. I click this button, called selection button, or I press V on the keyboard, and i move the box where I want.
Another important thing - if the box disappears you just look for it's border and click. Now we can write. Every time you want to write on the box, press T. Gonna write here. Ok.
If you want to change your font, you can do it right here.
Adobe Illustrator offers a handful of nice options, but you can always download more fonts from the Internet. Most of them free of charge. Fonts with this triangle will have some variations, such as Italic. You can centralize here and here you can change it's size.
Now I'm gonna show you how to insert some images. Look for the image you want and bring it to Illustrator.
Let's say this one. Let's adjust it. Ok. If you click here in the border you can redimensionate it how you want,
and if you press Shift while doing it you can keep proportions. Now - since illustrator is a vector image editor and not a raster image editor, it won't be that useful to edit your images. But we can talk
about vector images later, don't worry about that now. Ok, here's your cover, change it how you want, here's your back cover, pages one and twelve. The other pages are in the zipped file.
All right, now you want to print your Zine. Click file, then print. OR Cntl + P. You can also export it as an image or save it as a AI file. I also recommend you to delete those lines because it's here for reference and it can create problems when it's time for cut the pages for the Zine.
