Description from the creator

A friend of mine asked me to make her an abacus so instead of the standard boring abacus, I thought I would make here a decorative abacus in a box. I found a small box at a hobby shop for 4 bucks that would have taken me 2 hours to make which saved time and makes this project any do-it-yourself-er can do.

I wanted to be able to disassemble the abacus if needed so I used small brass plated screws which also serve as decorative buttons on the box.
