Description from the creator

Update: In this particular tutorial you must sew your dress together at the sides before you make the casing and then iron down the seams the entire length of the dress. When you do this add a few inches to the length you were going to make your armhole and this will allow you some extra length to fold it over when you make the casing. If you make the casing before you sew the sides together and then iron down the side seams, it will close up the hole in the casing where the ribbon will go. In the video it shows my casing already made when I ironed the seams down, that was incorrect. I had to rip it when I was sewing down the seams for the arm holes. Sorry for the confusion. And Please let me know if you have any questions. Unfortunately YouTube offers very limited options to edit a video after it is already posted.

Here’s the revised version of this video: youtu.be/7L0PpdfOGuo

This video is easy and will have you sewing up these adorable pillowcase dresses in no time. They are perfect to wear for playtime or dress up for church. They can also be worn in the winter with a cute turtle neck underneath. They are great for charity sewing as well.
