This outboard motor cover is moderately fitted with a sleeve hem in the bottom edge which accommodates a Dacron leechline string to draw the cover up tight against the motor. This video will also show how to make a cover for the motor throttle handle. Using Sunbrella or Surlast fabric gives the cover its water resistant properties while at the same time being breathable, allowing any moisture to escape out of the cover.
