How to Make Animated GIFs From Video (Photoshop Elements 7)

PLEASE READ:::Do NOT use CamStudio!! I have learned through sourceforge.net discussion that CamStudio, an open source software, has been hacked and can damage your computer.
Another screen capture (or video capture) software that I have been using for quite some time without any problems is Debut Video Capture Software. You can get a FREE version of that software here: nchsoftware.com/capture/
There are other free screen capture programs available, but please be careful and do research before choosing one!

A viewer asked if I could do a tutorial on making animated GIFs from videos, using Photoshop Elements. Here is what I came up with using Photoshop Elements 7.0.

I hope you find it useful!
