Description from the creator

How to make a candle holder (candle jar) out of concrete and a silicone mold from Buddies Artisan Mix.

Blog Post about this topic: diydanielle.com/cement-candle-holder/

****PLEASE READ: I have turned off comments on this video because when I originally posted this MANY years ago, I used different products. I got my products through Buddy Rhodes, which has some products available still, but they sold/rebranded so I'm NOT sure if the product changed at all. Last I checked, they don't sell their silicone molds anymore. I'm linking some similar looking products on Amazon, but I HAVE NOT USED THEM. I HIGHLY recommend checking with the concrete company (the one you purchase YOUR concrete through) before making these. They can give you the best advice. Regular concrete that you use for pouring a home foundation isn't the same as this artisan concrete that I used. Someone in the comments mentioned using gloves- this is probably a good idea. I was introduced to the product at a conference and I don't believe we used them there- so I wasn't as cautious. But I generally wear gloves and a respirator (quality mask) these days for craft projects that might be iffy for safety.****
