This is a quick video on how to make felt ball coaster the proper way. Once you make a felt ball coaster using thread and needle instead of glue, the felt ball coasters will last for a long time.

Here is quick step on how you can make felt ball coaster.

1. Prepration
a. First of all, you will need a sewing needle large enough to thread a nylon thread through the tiny hole.
b. Some thread. We prefer nylon thread as they are strong.
c. A pair of scissors.
d. Felt Balls to make the felt ball coaster.
That's it.

2. First of all, you put the thread, through the needle head.
3. Make a tiny knot at the end of the tread so, the felt ball doesn't go right through the thread.
4. Sew the first felt ball until the knot gets to the felt ball and sew the needle right through the felt ball to make sure you give a proper knot on the first felt ball to get your felt ball coaster started.
5. Sew about half 4-5 felt balls an make a circular loop to give it it's initial shape.
6. Once you get the first circle, start sewing the felt balls from the between one another like shown on the video to make sure they are properly attached.
7. Once you are happy with the first loop, continue making more loops until you get roughly 10cm in diameter felt ball coaster. Repeat the same process as before to ensure all felt balls are properly attached to one another.
8. Once you get to the end of the coaster, just make couple of loops within the thread and make a tiny knot.
9. Use your scissors to cut the remaining part of the thread.
10. If you are using a nylon string, we recommend, you use a small lighter at the end of the string to make sure the thread stays in place.

That's pretty much it. Hope this video has helped you in making your first felt ball coaster the proper way.
