When I was in my twenties, fishnet stockings were considered a wardrobe staple. Not for ordinary people, no no, just for me.

I swore they went with everything and were fitting for every occasion.

I’m not afraid to admit that I was very wrong about that. Fishnets can quickly come across as tacky and inappropriate if styled the wrong way.

I was styling them the wrong way.
