Description from the creator

Sukang Cebu or pinakurat will be your bestfriend when you taste it even once. Try this recipe here!

We, Filipinos, love condiments! We want our food, especially fried ones, to be dipped into something else. Why? Dipping sauces add extra flavor to what we are eating! Who does not love dipping fried tuyo in vinegar? Or have you tried kornik in spicy vinegar? Yum! What else do you pair with suka or vinegar? Oh, isaw!

Sukang Cebu or pinakurat is a special kind of vinegar. It is made from coconut fragmented sap or tuba blended with other herbs. If coconut sap is not available, then try using commercially produced vinegar. Added with chili, it gives a certain spice that you will love! Pinakurat came from the word kurat, which means "surprise" in Visayan language. That’s what pinakurat gives you when you use it, a "surprise" kick!

The longer this vinegar is stored, the tastier it will get. So start making it now! Enjoy!
