How to Make Lefse
ChannelM. N. HansonDescription from the creator
My folks made a video to show their friends how to make lefse (a traditional soft Norwegian flatbread). I thought it was good enough to share with a wider audience.
Lefse is made from potatoes. It's great with butter and salt (or butter and cinnamon and sugar) as well as with meat and gravy. My dad likes to eat it with lutefisk.
As kids, we always fought over it at Thanksgiving, just like the family's next generation does now. So you might want to make a large batch. Lefse keeps well in the freezer, so if you make a ton now, you can have some for Thanksgiving AND Christmas. Yum!
