This is some footage from Summer 2014 where I took a few afternoons to practice making a survival related spear out of fresh wood. I have seen many other styles of spears but I call mine a modified version because of some improvements I made to the final design. Because this is a larger and heavier spear its purpose would be for hunting and defense.
