Wedding Decorations: Pine Cone Place Cards
***
That familiar nip in the air has begun to make its presence known (or at least for me as I have just been in Canada), the evenings are drawing in - combined with an overwhelming desire to put on pyjamas and sit in front of an open fire (ok, so I don’t have one, but the urge is real!). This can all only mean one thing…winter is upon us, so Bride Society are kicking off our winter-wedding series with these Pine Cone Place Settings/Name Cards. We think winter looks it’s best with a fresh snowfall, which is what has inspired this week’s DIY tutorial. They will look great on your wedding breakfast tables or Christmas dining table.

BSoc tip: If some of your pine cones have seemingly hit the mulled wine a little early (aka, they are a little tippy!), pop a small blob of Blu Tack (or the white alternative you can now buy) on the bottom. It’ll be hidden and will solve all your tippy / tipsy problems!
