This 3-part mix creates some rough-and-ready homemade potting soil that will make your potted plants happy. The chunkier soil works well, even though it doesn't look like anything you buy in the store. Over time, the rotten wood rots down and continues to hold extra water. The manure feeds the plants, and the chicken run soil binds the whole thing together and adds more nutrition. You can also just leave a pile of wood chops to rot down for a long time, then mix that in with rabbit manure, old potting soil, etc., as I explain in the video. You can also sift this mix further to make seed-starting potting mix.

Three ingredients: aged manure, sifted chicken run soil, and rotten wood. Smash it up and mix it together. Just make sure the manure you use is SAFE.
