How to Make The Perfect Ice Cream Sundae

It is ice cream weather! *cue the applause!!* There are a few components to keep in mind when putting together an ice cream sundae, to ensure the perfect sundae. I take you through those 4 key elements in the video.

My "perfect sundae" theory was inspired by Jeni Britton Bauer of Jeni's Splendid Ice Creams, who gave me a little tutorial on the subject when I interviewed her for NowThis News a few years ago.

Watch the video to see the theory in action, and here's your cheat sheet for creating the perfect sundae. You must have:
1. ice cream -- choose a base flavor
2. sauce -- it should drizzle easily, eg. caramel
3. garnish/something crunchy
4. whipped cream
5. (optional) fresh fruit
