WARNING: Spectraply is not an approved material for making slingshots. If you want a super strong, nice looking wood board that works great for slingshots, check out the multiplex blanks from simple shot shooting sports by clicking here:

If you can't, or don't want to pay the $5 dollar per piece price tag, I would recommend 3/4 inch Baltic Birch plywood. It's not near as strong or as high quality as multiplex, but it does work quite well, and you can get it at your local hardware store.

Isaiah 40: Verse 28-31
"Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? there is no searching of his understanding.
He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength. Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall: But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint."
