Description from the creator

#hinge #hiphinge

The hip hinge can be a powerful movement for both finding a good starting position for exercises such as the dead lift and for temporary changing movement patterns with individuals suffering from low back pain.

We tried to set up 5 exercise in increase difficulty to give you a platform to help master the movement. Each person should start at the point they feel comfortable and progress at their own rate.

A couple of keys. Make sure that you feel the tension in the hamstrings (back of the legs) and not the low back, go slow enough that the movement is controlled and stable and finally make sure your body weight is over the mid-foot.
