Description from the creator

Here is another home winemaking trick that comes in handy... how to test the sulfites in your wine. Throughout the winemaking process you will add sulfites or sulfur dioxide (SO2) and many of those sulfites will oxidize and vanish. A relatively inexpensive way to test the sulfites in your wine is to do an aeration oxidation test like I show or with titrets which can be expensive and generally less accurate.

If sulfites are low, they can be easily adjusted by adding potassium metabisulfate or sodium metabisulfate. If sulfites are too high, some air exposure like a racking can help to reduce them. If they are extremely high then extreme measures can be taken like adding a very small amount of hydrogen peroxide to the wine to blow off the sulfites.
