#howto #meltchocolate #microwave

Let us learn how to melt chocolate without burning it. Melting chocolate in a microwave is very easy and saves your time. But you can also use the conventional double boiler method to melt your chocolate.

INSTRUCTIONS:

🧐 My Microwave Power Rating - 900 Watts

* Check the power rating of your microwave. Higher power takes less time and lower power rating takes more time. If your microwave is of 900 watts then follow these instructions.
* Also keep it depends on climatic conditions. That is your chocolate melts quickly during summers than winters.
* Cut your chocolate into small chunks so that they melt evenly.
* Use a microwavable bowl. Be sure that the bowl is dry without any moisture..because water is chocolate's biggest enemy.
* Chocolate requires gentle heat.

👉🏼 Melting Dark Chocolate:
* Place the bowl with chocolate chunks/shavings in the microwave and set the timer to 30 secs. on high power ( my microwave power - 900 watts). Then check it by slightly stirring. Again melt it for 30 secs. on high power and then give it a stir. Repeat this again and this time for 20 secs. It took me two 30 sec intervals and one 20 sec interval to melt dark chocolate.

👉🏼 Melting White Chocolate:
* Place the bowl with chocolate chunks/shavings in the microwave and set the timer to 30 secs. on high power ( my microwave power - 900 watts). Then check it by slightly stirring. Again melt it for 30 secs. on high power and then give it a stir. Repeat this again. It took me three 30 sec intervals to melt white chocolate.

SUGGESTIONS:
* Check the power rating of your microwave. Higher power takes less time and lower power rating takes more time.
* Cut your chocolate into small chunks so that they melt evenly.
* Use a microwavable bowl. Be sure that the bowl is dry without any moisture.
