Description from the creator

We all mess up. Sometimes often. There are 1,000s of decisions made throughout the process of making leather goods, and timing is crucial. In this example I jumped the gun and tried to “get ahead” by adding the logo too soon. In my haste, I forgot about the snap that needed to be added later down the road, therefore the logo was placed incorrectly (in my opinion). It would have worked out, however, the aesthetics of proper spacing would have been slightly off.

A logo (or any stamp on a piece) needs room to breathe, and not be overly crowded by anything near by. Even a 1/4” of extra breathing room can make a difference.

As frustrating as it can be, it’s always better to cut your losses and start over, for the sake of aesthetics and properly done work.
