How To Open A Screw Down Watch Back WITHOUT The Right Tools

In this video, I show you how to open a screw-down watch back without using the right tools. Generally, a case wrench is used to open these types of watch cases; however, I show you how to do it with a rubber ball, pair of scissors, and pair of needle-nose pliers! It is a fairly simple process, and each of the tools is used to grip the back of the watch and unscrew it.

You should obviously have the right tools for the job if you are trying to open a watch and want to do the best job possible, but not having the right tools should not stop you from trying to do it completely. There are other things that you can use, and hopefully this video tutorial helps you to open your own screw down watch back so that you can work on your watch or do things like change the battery, even if you do not have the exact proper tools for the job.
