How to open and convert Sony ARW raw files for editing. This is a way for you to edit Sony ARW files.

I work with an older version of Lightroom and Adobe CS6, their last version before CC subscription based format, so it's no surprise that I wouldn't be able to work with any newer formats that might come after CS6.

After much research, I found that Adobe does offer a workaround. Adobe offers a converter to convert any raw files into DNG format. Once converted, you'll be able to work in Lightroom, Photoshop in the DNG format.

Hope this helps those that were/are in the same situation as I was.
