How to Paint Alpha Legion Lord Discordant (Disco Lord)

The Alpha Legion "Disco Lord"; the blender of close combat for Chaos Space Marines. This guy, while in the Alpha Legion, has his natural "-1 to hit" from this legion trait. Giving him the Warlord Trait "Clandestine" can give him another "-1 to hit". Making him mark of Nurgle allows him to be the target of "Miasma of Pestilence", which can give him another "-1 to hit". And having him near a Dark Apostle lets him be the target of the incantation "Benediction of Darkness" to be another "-1 to hit". Because this guy carries the Daemon keyword and the Legion keyword he can become a whopping "-4 to hit" and even Thunderfire Cannons can't hurt him. Then he has his regular 2+ Save and 5+ Invulnerable Daemon save; his 12 wounds, and his ability to regenerate 1 wound per round.

And on the offense, he gets 4 Attacks with his Chainglaive (5 with Hateful Assault), and these run at S6, and S8 if he charged and 2D each. Then he gets another 3-5 attacks with the "Bladed Limbs and Tail" at D3. and one last attack with the "Technovirus Injector" at S8 (D3). Add in "Death to the False Emperor", and any other strategems and spells and you have a monster unit. And if you lose him, well, "I am Alpharius" prevents you from giving up "Slay the Warlord".

All this for 160 points. Just, wow.
