How to Paint Furniture: A Beginner's Guide

Learn how to paint furniture with this step by step tutorial! Consider this a beginner’s guide, or Furniture Painting 101 crash course, for how to get the smoothest, most professional-looking finish possible. I wrote a blog tutorial several years ago and to this day it is my most popular post and the one that I get the most questions and comments about, so I thought it might be helpful to share it in video form. Disclaimer: There are a lot of different ways to go about painting furniture, as well as different types of products you can use, but this is the technique that works best for me and I’ve linked my favorite products below.
