Brushes: 1/2 flat bristle (large), #8 round (medium), #3 round (small)
Acrylic Paint: titanium white, mars black, burnt umber (brown), chrome yellow, cobalt blue, fire red, green oxide, purple violet
Other: #2 pencil, palette, cup of water for washing brushes, paper towel for drying brushes

STEPS:
1. #2 pencil - Draw outline for the hills
2. 1/2 inch bristle brush - Paint the sky with white, black, blue and brown
3. 1/2 inch bristle brush - Paint the hills with black, brown, purple, blue and white
4. 1/2 inch bristle brush - Paint the moon with white
5. #8 round brush - Paint 1st layer of pine trees with brown, black and green
6. #3 round brush - Paint outline for owl with black and brown
7. #3 round brush - Paint outline for present with black and brown
8. #3 round brush - Paint 1st layer of eyes with brown and white
9. #3 round brush - Paint 1st layer of clothing with yellow, brown, red, purple and green
10. #3 round brush - Finish beak and eyes with red, yellow and white
11. #3 round brush - Paint black area on eyes with black
12. #3 round brush - Paint shadow underneath owl with black
13. #3 round brush - Finish the present with orange, red, yellow and white
14. #3 round brush - Finish the eyes with blue and white
15. #8 round brush - Finish tree with white, green and brown
