How To Pick A Good Username For Twitch - Generators And Ideas!

If you are struggling to come up with a username at all, you can check out some of the generators I have linked below and on our site. For example, you can use spinXO to add in your name, likes, hobbies, etc and it will generate some ideas for you.

They’re not all great but they just generate ideas, for example, I span the wheel with some random stuff, and got HilariousHiver and HumorousNodus, then if you drop off Hilarious and humorous, you get ideas like Hiver, and Nodus which don’t sound so bad so today I am going to be using Nodus as our username and run you through whether that is a good name.

Okay so as you come up with ideas, you can now check they’re available, my first tip is to try to keep it short and simple. Just a few syllables that are easily memorable. I went with Eljayem because it is unique, it’s three short syllables, it is personable to me, and most importantly it is really easy for my chat to shorten into nicknames, like Eljay.

If you have a nickname sometimes that can be a great place to start with, even an anagram of your name could be good.
