In this video, the basic steps of washing silk fabric will be covered. In this case, I am preaching the silk that I bought from a fabric store, but this method is the same for if you want to get dirt out of your fabric.

Materials:
access to running cold water, and a bowl/basin to hold cold water
silk fabric (can be either dirty or newly bought)
mild/gentle laundry detergent
mild fabric softener, or hair conditioner
