Hydrogen sulphide gas is prepared mostly by kipps apparatus in laboratory, it is used mostly in salt analysis in labs. This video shows how to prepare this gas by reacting a dilute sulphuric acid with iron sulphide. Gas is collected in bottle filled with water, gas gets absorbed in water and subsequently stored for reactions.
