How to Properly Apply Liquid Concealer with Fingers |Without Using A Brush

Liquid concealer can be applied with no brush and just your fingers! It’s that simple!

Step 1: Moisturise Your Face

It doesn’t matter if you want to use your concealer on bare skin or after applying your tinted moisturiser, BB/CC cream or foundation.

You should prepare your skin well and use a moisturiser according to your skin type to achieve a smooth and moisturised surface so that the makeup will sit on top perfectly.

Step 2: Applying Liquid Concealer with Fingers

Make sure to choose the right liquid concealer for your skin type and skin tone since you can get liquid concealers that are more hydrating and dewier whereas others are slightly drier and matte.

Also, make sure to select the right shade, depending on whether you want to use it as a brightening concealer – if so, opt for one or two shades lighter than your actual skin tone – or if you want more coverage, choose one that’s the same shade as your skin tone and use it for the eyes and face.

Before applying the liquid concealer, make sure your hands are clean.

Apply a few dots of liquid concealer with the applicator under your eyes or over blemishes – wherever you need coverage – and use your fingers to blend it into the skin. The warmth of your finger will help you to really smoothen out the concealer and achieve an even blend.

If you have prepared your skin well, you will achieve a smooth finish. If you still have some dryness, the concealer isn’t as effective.

Step 3: Set the Liquid Concealer

Depending on your skin type, you might also want to set the concealer – especially under the eyes – with some amount of face powder using a fluffy brush or powder puff.
