How to Properly Clean your BBQ Grill

Keeping your stainless steel grill properly maintained is the key to a long life. Not only will it help to prevent rust and corrosion, it'll keep your grill functioning like new. But not everyone does it right, and you can do more damage than good without some tips from our Chef John.

First, make sure you use clean cloths. A dirty cloth can scratch your grill's nice stainless steel finish. Second, when using a cleaner and sponge, make sure to rub WITH the grain of the steel. Don't scrub in circles as you'll create swirl marks and scratches. Do not apply too much pressure either, the cleaner spray will do most of the work for you.
