This is a quick video on how to properly close a steel baton, no matter the quality of what you own. The one I got, I had researched it and it seemed to be an issue on how to close it, and banging it on cement will mar the finish. Here's how to do it and keep it looking nice. (I'm a machinist, and see it works on flanges ... no need to jam it on the ground)
