How to put links in YouTube Comments - Ray The Video Guy's YouTube Tips

If you have tried to put links in your YouTube comments, you will notice that YouTube gives you an error. There have been a number of "workarounds" for this such as typing out the punctuation, such as www [dot] website [dot] com. While this might be helpful, it isn't really an easy solution. Fortunately, there is a way to get your links into your comments, although it won't be clickable.

In order to be able to put your link into a comment, the site needs to be written in a "full-width text". Full-Width text is text that is ｓｐａｃｅｄ  ｏｕｔ  ｅｖｅｎｌｙ.

You will notice that my spaced out text does not actually have spaces in-between the letters. It is just written with full-width text. To generate full-width text, you will need to visit a full-width text generator, such as this one:
linkstrasse.de/en/ｆｕｌｌｗｉｄｔｈ－ｃｏｎｖｅｒｔｅｒ

Once you are there, put your URL into the full-width generator, and it will give you the full-width version of your URL. Simply copy it and paste the link into your comment. When you do, YouTube will not give you an error, and people that ready your comment can copy and past the URL into their browser.

Again, this link in the YouTube comment will NOT be a clickable hotlink, but at least they won't have to remember the site and type it in on their own.

Using this YouTube trick to get links in your YouTube comments can help you generate more traffic, but beware. People may flag your comments as spam, so use this feature wisely!
