Description from the creator

This is the second part of my ekg strips made easy series, in this video we will be analyzing ekg strips for atrial fibrillation and atrial flutter.

Atrial fibrillation and atrial flutter do not have p waves and have irregular R-R intervals.

The Basics for EKG Strip Interpretation

This EKG made easy tutorial teaches you the fundamental basics on how to interpret ekg strips. Cardiac telemetry ekg strips has 4 basic steps. First understand EKG values PR interval 0.12 to 0.20 sec., QRS complex less than 0.10 sec., and QT interval less than 0.40 sec. Second we need to understand a six second strip and know what the boxes on an EKG graph paper represent. Third we need to analyze the heart rate and finally determine the heart rhythm whether it’s regular or irregular.
