How to Record an Audio Track | Getting Started with Cubase

Yeah, I can hear all the folk out there who play instruments grumbling about how you've spent years learning how to play an instrument and now all you want to do is plug the darn thing in and record it. All that we've looked at so far is how to make music by not playing an instrument. Well, this video is just for you. We'll take the powerful, yet compact Yamaha THR10C for a grand spin in this video and show you how to set up your audio hardware to get everything ready to record. Then we'll show you how to set up a loop record, so you can either capture the perfect take or edit your recording to conjure the perfect take (we won't tell anyone if you don't). It's not just about the take, it's also about making sure you are adding FX and making the most of where your take is sitting in your track so we'll cover some basics on how you can get creative with your musical ideas.
