Check out my other video titled, How To Find iPhone Backup Folder On Windows XP And Copy To An External Hard Drive"

I do not backup to iCloud, I backup to my computer. I'm not sure if this will work if you backup to iCloud.

Here are the steps to recover your old voice mails as well as deleted voice mails:

If you are not COMPLETELY confident in trying what was described in the video consider getting someone to help you that understands the processes explained in the video. I will not be held liable in any way for any lost data that is not able to be recovered.

Things you need are your old iPhone, (I'm not sure if it will work with an iPhone that your old SIM card will fit) your old SIM card, and your previous backup before upgrading your iPhone.

If you do not have your OLD SIM card you may be able to use any SIM card that is NOT activated. However, I have not tried this and I'm not sure if it will work. If you try without a SIM card, iTunes will tell you that you must have a SIM in the iPhone in order to restore your iPhone.

1) Make sure you backup your device before starting this process. It will ensure that you're able to restore your new iPhone to the way it was before starting this process.

2) Erase all content on the iPhone by going to Settings, General, Reset, Erase All Content and Settings, Erase iPhone, it will ask if you're sure, touch Erase iPhone. (Again before you Erase All Content and Settings make sure you backup your iPhone so you'll be able to restore it to the way it was before starting this process.

3) Power your device off and take the new SIM card out and insert the old SIM card.

4) Open iTunes and plug your iPhone into your computer.

5) After iTunes recognizes your device, restore your iPhone from a previous backup. (I'm not sure if it will work if you restore from the backup you just created)

6) After the restore process is completed your old voice mails should be back on your device for you to copy over to another audio source like your computer which will allow you to listen to your old voice mails. You may need to download a program to your computer in order to copy the voice mails over to your computer.
