I recently purchased a 4TB WD My Passport External Hard Drive from Costco. Since I use a Mac, I need to reformat the hard drive in order for it to be used. In this video, I show you how to reformat an external hard drive to be compatible for use with a Mac, or for both a Mac & a PC.

***Make sure you back up any files you have on the drive before you do this as it will erase them!***
