The bathroom remodel that really isn't a bathroom remodel

this is really a bathroom makeover, not a bathroom remodel. In this small bathroom makeover, you're gong to make it look bathroom renovations instead in your guest bath or even your master bath. Your guest bathroom makeover involves re caulking shower walls, and regrouting tile walls as well. It's easy to regrout bathroom walls, but don't use the pre-mixed grout in the buckets, as too many people complain it's way too difficult to wash the residue off. To regrout tiles we use regular mortar based grout, and apply it the same way you normally apply grout to walls.

The main component of this bathroom refresh is to regrout shower walls, mix the mortar, apply it to the walls, and do about 2 square feet at a time. Regrout shower tile walls from top to bottom, and wash off the grout, trying not to scrape off what little grout you got on top of the old grout.
Once you are satisfied that all your old ugly grout lines are done and you have a nice regrout bathroom wall complete, then we show you how to apply silicone correctly and tool it off.

Re caulking bathtub tiles is pretty easy too, and when you're don your bathroom will look almost like it did on day one. Recaulking the bathtub tiles and wall surround will go smoothly if you use the tolls we showed in the video.
