How To Easily Remove Glitter Nail Polish [3 steps]

When in doubt, just add glitter, right? Glitter polish is gorgeous and you can never go wrong with glitter. The hard part comes when it’s the time to remove it. In this video, I’m showing you how I remove glitter nail polish in 3 easy steps.

You’ll need:
- Nail polish remover (doesn’t have to be 100% acetone) I used nail polish remover from Sally Hansen which contains 68% of acetone.
- Cotton pads/balls
- Nail file/buffer

Steps:
1. File/buff the glitter nail polish (only file/buff the first shiny layer). This step helps make the removal process a lot easier.
*be careful not to file/buff too much as this can damage your nails.

2. Soak cotton pad with the polish remover then place it on the nail. I used alcohol swabs wrappers to secure the cotton, you can also use aluminium foil.
Wait for 3-5 minutes.

3. Remove the cotton pad and rub off any excess nail polish.

~The most important nail care after removing any polish is hydrating your nails.
