After long use, thermos flask can be dirty. For example, coffee can stain the interior of the thermos flask. Regular wash will not remove the grime or stain.

Here is a save trick to remove the grime.

Add sodium bicarbonate (NaHCO3) powder (a.k.a. baking powder) in to the thermos flask

Boil water enough water to fill the thermos

Then add boiling water to the flask. Close the thermos, shake and wait overnight. Next day the grime will be removed easily. Repeat if necessary.
