Description from the creator

This is how I removed ink and cleaned my off white leather couch without any toxic cleaning chemicals. What I used to remove the ink has also worked for removing ink from fabric, so keep that in mind as well. However, PLEASE READ THE DISCLAIMER BELOW TO AVOID DAMAGING YOUR LEATHER.

DISCLAIMER: TO AVOID DAMAGING YOUR LEATHER!!! MUST READ!

Always test these methods in an inconspicuous place on your leather to ensure that your leather will not fade or stain using these products. I have only ever used these cleaning methods on fully sealed, thick leather. Using baby wipes, coconut oil and hairspray are not recommended on more delicate, soft and/or untreated leather. If you choose to use coconut oil on untreated or soft leather know that it will oil stain or darken the leather!

Please insure that the baby wipes that you use contain mainly water and a small percentage of moisturizers and NOTHING ELSE! Although the baby wipes I use in this video do contain less than 1% of alcohol and other acid ingredients, those are not recommended. Instead I now RECOMMEND YOU LOOK FOR THE FOLLOWING:

GENTLE BABY WIPES WITH NO ALCOHOL, NO FRAGRANCES AND NO HARSH CLEANING CHEMICALS.

Also, be sure to wipe down any excess water after cleaning with the baby wipes to ensure that you do not dry out the leather. Use the baby wipe method as a periodic spot treatment and on occasion to clean heavily soiled leather AND NOT REGULARLY!

NEVER CLEAN LEATHER WITHOUT OUT FOLLOWING UP WITH SOME TYPE OF CONDITIONER TO PREVENT DRYING OUT THE LEATHER AND CRACKING. In this case I used coconut oil, a little does go a long way and it helps to melt the coconut oil into a liquid state first. Wipe on, let the oil sit and soak in and then buff the leather with a soft cloth. If you would like to take this method one step further to waterproof the leather you can use beeswax, although I’ve never tried it.

Damp cloth dusting your leather from time to time should be enough to clean it in between cleaning periods and even applying a light layer of coconut oil to a clean cloth and whipping the leather down will help to clean the leather on its own, while helping to condition and deodorize the leather as well.
