To remove skunk smell, combine a quart of 3 percent hydrogen peroxide, a 1/4 cup of baking soda, and 2 teaspoons of a mild dishwashing liquid soap in a plastic bucket.

Work the solution into the fur and allow to set for 5 minutes. Be careful around your pets eyes.

Rinse with warm water and smell the fur, apply again if needed.

This was developed by a chemist and used by vets and groomers.
