How to Replace a Record Player Ceramic Cartridge Flipover Needle

Is one of our most common questions from customers. This flipover (flip under, turnover) needle replacement demo is performed on a Magnavox 560344, 560345, 560346, 560347 type ceramic cartridge as found in over 1000 models including the Micromatic and Astrosonic series but the same methodology applies to almost all ceramic cartridges with a flip needle which was state of the art from the late 1950s through the 1970s. But keep in mind there were 100s of generally similar looking but not interchangeable flip needles so only order our "557" type needle if you have an exact visual shape match here turntableneedles.com/product.asp?itemid=1148
