Description from the creator

This video is here to possibly give some hints and ideas to someone who wants to fix up their old climbing shoes as cheap and easy as possible.
If you can afford it and such a service is available nearby then use professional resoling instead - you will get better result that will look much nicer for sure.
Anyhow I tried it mostly out of curiosity and im happy with result. Though i have had to reglue edges from time to time when they started to delaminate, the shoes work nicely still.
Much depends on glue - i have tried Henkel's Moment and Bison's vinyl plastic adhesive and recommend last one. Main thing it must work with rubber and textile and stay elastic. Optionally you can go ask from local shoemaker for best glue.
About new soles - go ask from your climbing shop, they should have some or at least know where to get. Another option is to go online to get soles or full resole kit with glue.
Way i did it is very simple/lazy/robust way - i didnt bother heating glue or to hammer soles after glueing or grinding them to get more polished look - mainly coz im too lazy and current outcome is fine for me
