This video is a tutorial on how to purposely rust your hood. This would also work with fenders, trunks, and other metal parts of your car.
Use a power tool to sand down your hood to the bare metal using a high grit sand paper such as 80. After doing that mix Salt, Hydro Peroxide, and Vinegar into a spray bottle (no measurements needed). Spray that mixture generously over the entire hood. Let it sit in the sun for about 15-30 mins occasionally spraying more of the mixture onto the hood. And there you go! If you rinse the top layer of the rust off most will come off but you will see some that has made its permanent stay. Add another thin layer and let it dry.
