Saving seed from Penstemon plants is a simple process. With my method you can gather enough seed for your entire neighborhood! Every couple of years I save seed from my Hairy Beardtongue plants to use for future plantings.

This video contains the following steps to save Penstemon Plants:
- Identify Penstemon after blooming
- Drying seeds
- Dislodging / releasing seeds from the capsules
- Separating the chaff
- Storage requirements
