How to scan a document to a computer using your Lexmark printer or multifunction product (MFP)

This video shows you how to scan a document and save it to your computer using your Lexmark printer or Multifunction product (MFP).

Make sure that you have installed the Lexmark Universal Print Driver.

Make sure that you add the printer to your computer 00:21 to 00:55

Before you can use the scan to computer feature, make sure that your printer and your computer are connected to the same network. You can use an ethernet cable or you can connect the printer to your Wi-Fi network.

If you have no internet, then you can connect your printer directly to your computer using a printer to computer USB cable. The printer to computer USB cable has USB 2.0 Type A Male connector at one end and USB2.0 Type B Male connector on the other. The USB cable is sold separately.

Note that the Lexmark Scanback Utility is only applicable to printers that are connected to the internet/network.
